We have an exciting role open in our Denver-area office for the right candidate who will have experience in reaching thought leaders and trendsetters in the food, health and culinary space through creative content, social media engagement and other moments to educate and inspire them about beef. You will assist the team in identifying, developing and maintaining relationships with nationally known food, nutrition and health, and culinary leaders and will share your knowledge of new and impactful methods to engage and inform targeted influencers. We are looking for somebody with 1-3 years of communications experience who must be able to connect with this audience through compelling written content, sharing strategies and in-person activities. You will participate in a collaborative, high-functioning team and we are looking for someone who is willing and able to do whatever it takes to get the job done. RESPONSIBILITIES Evaluates opportunities for sponsorships and partnerships that will educate influencers Works with Executive Director, Outreach Development to track pre-defined measurable objectives on a quarterly basis Follows food, nutrition and culinary industry news and trends to understand how beef can be part of the conversation Monitors food, health\/nutrition and culinary influencer activity Keeps current on technologies and tools that are most effective for reaching food, health\/nutrition and culinary influencers Engages with internal teams and Executive Director, Outreach Development to plan and execute influencer strategies and ensure consistency of messaging and outreach to influencer audiences Writes creative content that will make an impact on perceptions and attitudes regarding all aspects of beef, including production, nutrition and culinary topics Develops system for tracking engagement with key influencers and review for key insights to strengthen the influencer programming Facilitates collection of measurement for performance efficiency metrics for the team on a monthly and quarterly basis Engages with producers and producer-led committees as assigned Contributes, collaborates and shares content with internal and external stakeholders Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor\u2019s degree in journalism, public relations, English literature or creative writing, marketing or similar field plus one-three years of experience in communications, journalism or public relations Knowledge of working with food, health\/nutrition and culinary blogger networks, including best practices Passion for food and health Strong writing, editing and communication skills Basic knowledge of social media platforms Human relations skills, including style flexing, receiving constructive feedback, and active listening Basic skills in organization and prioritization, including tracking multiple projects Ability to work as part of a team Basic skills in computer systems, including Microsoft Office Ability to follow processes and procedures Ability to consistently meet attendance standards for regular, reliable, predictable, full-time attendance Ability to travel overnight (approximately 10 \u2013 15 percent of your time), and availability on weekends BENEFITS Dental Insurance Health Insurance Life Insurance Long-Term Disability Short-Term Disability Vision Insurance

With offices in Denver, Chicago and Washington, D.C., NCBA is a consumer-focused, producer-directed organization representing the largest segment of the nation's food and fiber industry. NCBA works to achieve the vision: "A dynamic and profitable beef industry, which concentrates resources around a unified plan, consistently meets global consumer needs and increases demand." The NCBA Federation of State Beef Councils Division oversees beef and beef product promotion, research, information and related activities financed by the beef checkoff and similar market development investments. It also functions as the Federation of 45 Qualified State Beef Councils and carries out the duties and responsibilities assigned to the Federation by the Beef Promotion and Research Act and Order. In this way, NCBA coordinates state-national efforts to build demand for beef.
