Job Summary

Seeking experienced leader to build and drive implementation of National Pricing/Packaging plan, oversee ongoing operational deliverables, and drive the implementation of a defined promotional strategy. The Pricing, Packaging, & Promotions Operations lead drives the organization's operational priorities by defining implementation plans and collaborating across multiple teams across the ecosystem. Ensures that communication of current initiatives, promotions and campaigns is accurately, timely and effectively communicated to all appropriate personnel at executive levels and departments. Provides leadership and direction for team which may include multiple functional areas and direct reports. Develops and implements strategy for functional area(s). Responsible for the overall Marketing and Sales effort in a multi-system environment as it relates to the deployment of new products, services, enhancements, and promotions. Directs all business planning in the implementation of new products and service enhancements. Acts as a liaison between Region, Division, Corporate and System Marketing personnel to ensure that each group is informed of most recent product, marketing developments and plans. Provides leadership and direction for diverse and complex functions, typically managing multiple teams of professionals.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

Communicates strategy and vision. Directs and motivates Marketing team towards excellent performance.

Represents organization as a prime contact on contracts or projects. Interacts with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations.

Develops strategic partnerships and building of alliances with industry partners, networks etc. as needed, to achieve product growth and financial objectives. Consults with Marketing/Sales to identify, define, size and prioritize strategic opportunities.

Engages stakeholders in both the design, development and launch of marketing plans, operational priorities and implementation plans.

Partners with ISS/CXT/DXP to develop a streamlined execution process with governance and quality controls to ensure standardized offer designs and error-free delivery. Develop a process to assist in the identification and management of IS resource constraints to ensure that Commercial Marketing priorities are met.

Partner with teams to ensure product/platform requirements meet pricing and packaging objectives.

Manages and directs teams and ensures that planning is aligned with the budget and meets program objectives, including timely delivery of objectives.

Serves as the department liaison and Subject Matter Expert to the Divisions Product and Marketing leads, CX, ISS, CES and Commercial Marketing SLT.

Works closely with customer care, Sales, Finance and Legal teams to assist with development and implementation of core business, competitive and new product marketing plans and strategies to achieve all subscriber and revenue growth goals. Provides guidance to local/external analysts to ensure strategic alignment, effective use and development of resources.

Serves as primary contact with program suppliers for operational design and implementation of acquisition and retention activities.

Oversees the recruiting, hiring and evaluating of the Marketing staff to ensure that the appropriate level of support is available and maintained.

Maintains and improves ongoing marketing programs, analyses and reports.

Oversees the designing of new ideas and communicates potential uses for analytics across the business.

Coaches, mentors and advises Marketing staff.

Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

Education

Bachelor's Degree

While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.
