The Manager, Content and Promotions will be responsible for ensuring that content, specifically native video, photos, and infographics created for and distributed across National Geographic social platforms is optimized for audiences. Working closely within the Social and Audience Development team as well as with the Visual, Client Solutions, and Digital Solutions teams, this person will ideate and pitch series that will appeal to partners, support business objectives, and key initiatives. This person will be tasked with informing strategy and execution of branded content to be natively distributed across social platforms. As part of this role, this person will also oversee execution of sponsorship and marketing campaigns, including managing paid campaigns, as well as work on new product launches. This position will have general supervision.
Primary lead for Visual team for creation, optimization and distribution of native content.
Increased traffic, engagement and revenue.
Manage paid social media campaigns for sponsorship executions as well as marketing and e-commerce efforts.
Drive traffic, conversions of members and revenue.
Strategy for new social media products like Show Pages, Messenger, etc.
Integrate internal stakeholders KPIs, partners, and ambassadors to produce series to increase video views, time spent, etc. and generate revenue.
Ideate, pitch, and execute content created for partnership and sponsorships.
Increase traffic, views, participation, engagement and revenue.
Basic understanding of budgeting.
PC/Mac, Microsoft Office, etc.
