Engility has an opening for a full time Video Producer/Production Specialist for the production of primarily video products. As a Video Producer/Production Specialist, you will lead the production team and be part of a new initiative with our organization that promotes innovation and creativity. In this fast paced environment, you will help create short creative videos both in studio and on location. Your ability to produce multimedia content from start to finish will be instrumental to your success. You will lead a team in all phases of the production lifecycle (pre-production activities, studio and on-location video production, post-production) and work with the customer to define requirements and gain customer approvals. The Video Producer/Production Specialist will work with Chroma Key technology and produce products that will integrate 3D environments.
The primarily job location is in the northern Virginia area, although occasional travel within and outside of the United States will be required.

The Video Producer/Production Specialist will perform, at a minimum, the following functions within the program:

Lead the production studio team in all aspects of the video creation process, from planning and script development to final product edits
Ingest, organize, edit and color correct footage to create compelling video content
Storyboard, plan and facilitate studio and on-location video production, including planning, logistics, filming, editing, compositing, sound design, motion graphic design and encoding for distribution
Work in collaboration with the sponsor, sponsor program team, and production team
Perform Producer/Director functions as well as provide backfill support for any member of the production studio team
Work in a fast-paced, demanding environment
Maintain production schedule and manage the studio use schedule
A current/active TS/SCI with polygraph
A minimum of 8 years of relevant production experience
A deep understanding of concept development, motion, 3D space, and storytelling
Comprehensive experience shooting, lighting and editing video
A strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
A strong knowledge of video codecs and output formats
3D applications, models and rendering with After Effects
Perform Digital Asset Management (DAM) for video assets
Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently
Ability to travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations
Desired Qualifications:
Knowledge of compositing products (e.g. Nuke)
Familiarity with camera match-move and 3D tracking data
Windows platforms
