As the Media Supervisor, you are responsible for facilitating integration of the process and resources through discovery, ideation, planning, concepting, and development phases for existing clients. You are the day to day client leadership and management on the Marketing and Media team. You are responsible for providing client specific, strategic, guidance to the Media Planners, and overseeing the development of the channel tactics and executions. You have a strong working knowledge of all digital channels, including display, paid social, search, mobile, and video.
You will:
Oversee a media planning team with responsibilities for the definition, management and execution of online market and media strategy, including but not limited to, email campaign management, search engine marketing, online media and promotions, and affiliate marketing, in order to maximize client business/marketing objectives
Day to day senior contact for the respective client; able to build strong client relationships while executing up-sell and cross-sell to organically grow the business
Accountable for each assigned marketing/media project and each phase of the online marketing/media process: strategy, planning/buying, trafficking, optimization, and measurement analysis and ROI
Works directly with the creative and account teams to ensure that each project is on strategy, on time and within budget
Provide direction to and maintain standards for Critical Mass’ creative team; provide significant input to creative team for format recommendations relative to the media plan
Serve as main point of integration for multiple agency partners; ensure integrated program management
Drive the team to conduct ongoing search for new and favorable customer acquisition opportunities and negotiation of contracts
Identify and qualify vendors for co-marketing partnerships and managing those partnerships
Manage third-party vendors and contractors and evaluate new opportunities for the client on an ongoing basis
Evaluate, build and maintain relationships in the local/national online marketing, media, and vendor community
Stay up-to-date on and advises clients of the latest trends in interactive marketing/media and develop “Point of View” (POV) documents on new trends or special opportunities
Participate in new project development and new business efforts as required by Critical Mass management
You have:
5 years of online media planning and buying experience; minimum 2 years in a supervisory role
Able to provide inventive, but measurable, solutions for client challenges
Deeply familiar and passionate about interactive marketing concepts, practices and programs with a strong understanding of integrated marketing
Experienced with hands-on implementation and results measurement
Able to work effectively across functional groups or geographic offices to meet aggressive schedules
Able to work with minimal supervision while maintaining focus and productivity
Fluid understanding of all relevant ad serving and research tools including but not limited to Doubleclick, Omniture, Atlas DMT, Nielsen and Comscore
