We are looking for a Senior Account Manager of Paid Media (Sr AM) who will be responsible for creating and delivering strategic direction for existing and new clients. This role will be directly responsible for the success of their clients;Paid Search program(s). This position provides: internal support and leadership for the rest of the Paid Media team, crucial visibility and reporting to the finance team, and new business development. As a Paid Media Sr AM, you will be required to provide thought leadership on search strategies and optimization tactics, as well as media mix strategies for clients. Building strong relationships and establishing clear lines of communication with clients, partners and internal team members will be crucial.
Responsibilities:
Main point of contact for their respective paid media clients, leading client meetings and QBRs, and fielding all communication relating to account strategy, recommendations, and deliverables
Develops and implements account strategy, including creation of strategy and testing roadmaps, creation and measurement of KPIs, cross-channel marketing and budget recommendations
Strategies should be performance based, but also outline key areas of growth and expansion
Strategies should account for analytics solutions and requirements, including third party partnerships, analytics scope, and technical implementation. These analytics solutions are not restricted solely to individual paid media channels, but should be focused on demonstrating impact and insight across all marketing channels
Recommendations and strategic vision should account for channels beyond paid media
Implements best practices in client Paid Media accounts
Conducts one-on-one updates with Director of Paid Media
Lead ad copy writing with partners and clients for search campaigns
Performs competitive reviews, program tests, and ad copy testing
Manages reporting process and tracking of search campaigns, including development of all reporting templates and delivery of all relevant reporting, whether regularly scheduled or ad hoc analysis
Responsible for budget management including tracking, reporting, and invoicing
Provide leadership with financial planning and forecasting
Investigate and analyze market and industry trends, vendor offerings, and third party research/findings
Identify up-sell and cross-sell opportunities for existing Listing Management and paid media clients. Develop recommendations, work with Director of Paid Media for creation of pricing and client proposals
Assist in strategic analysis for new business prospects: perform research, cultivate paid media strategy, and craft pitch materials
Participate in new business pitches for paid media
Manage, develop, and train junior members of the paid media team
Cross-train employees in analytics and relevant platforms to facilitate cross-channel reporting and improve overall client growth
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree, concentration in business, marketing, advertising or math preferred and/or equivalent work experience
3 years working in online advertising, direct marketing, or e-commerce
Experience in cross-channel analytics and attribution modeling/reporting
Competency in PPC/Paid Search, display, video, and social with hands-on management experience of cross-channel initiatives
Strong analytical and implementation skills.
GA expertise required
Experience in offline conversion tracking required
Omniture/Site Catalyst, Webtrends, and other third party tracking platforms is a plus
High competency level in MS Office, specifically Excel, is required
Client-facing writing and communication skills
Experience with SEO is a plus
