Part Time Media Jobs
A part-time media professional provides expertise in media activities. A part-time media professional teaches in the traditional library media core for teacher-librarians, including in areas like technical services, information storage or retrieval, information literacy, instructional design, and children’s literature. A part-time media professional administers media and technology programs, develops media activities, instructs on methods and media technology, maintains current knowledge of library media resources and applications, and files evidence of the successful management of library media/multimedia operations. A part-time media professional adjusts to continually changing circumstances. A part-time media professional endorses programs to develop and teaches the courses that comprise the online program. A part-time media professional develops and implements teaching strategies for the organization, planning, handling, and analyzing media research.
A part-time media professional should have a graduate degree in educational media,
library media administration, media technology, or a related field, and media experience is required. College-level teaching and experience in the development of instructional media is preferred. A strong candidate will have the ability to work with a diverse population and will possess media endorsement qualifications. A part-time media professional should have excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills and a strong commitment to service.
