Digital Media Jobs
A digital media person is responsible for all aspects of day-to-day technical operations for a busy retail client’s application and infrastructure. A digital media person is responsible for incident management, problem management, change management and release management A digital media person is required to ensure the targets / objectives outlined in service level agreements are adhered to. A digital media person ensures that technical issues are identified pro-actively and communicated effectively. A digital media person reacts quickly to live systems issues and service problems to minimize downtime and restore service. A digital media person maintains or enhances infrastructure components and services by maximizing the use of available resources. A digital media person ensures application, systems and network security. A digital media person liaises with development team to support new features and services. A digital media person works with system administrators to manage infrastructure, hands-on system administration work as required. A digital media person manages third-party application integrations and vendor support.
A digital media person should have post secondary education or equivalent and minimum experience of five years in managing web applications within a large it infrastructure. A digital media person should have ability to understand web based applications and fundamental and technologies. A digital media person should have problem analysis skills, influencing and leadership skills, personnel management skills and written and spoken communications skills. A digital media person should have ability to properly prioritize multiple simultaneous tasks.
