Photographer Jobs
A photographer is responsible for creating visuals for news and other purposes. A photographer communicates with clients in order to understand their needs. A photographer prepares for photo shoots (i.e., scouts locations, rents equipment, etc.), setting up or taking down lighting, backgrounds, props, and other equipment. A photographer captures images and processes images. A photographer creates final print images and digital files. A photographer takes pictures and edits them to create visual support for news items. A photographer works with creativity and style to set his or her work apart from that of the competition.
A photographer should have a bachelor’s or master's degree in photography. The most important training for a photographer will be practical experience using cameras and taking pictures. A photographer should also have strong artistic vision. A photographer must be able to capture the moods and feelings of the subjects of his or her photographs.
