A producer arranges for the timely delivery of promo materials to local or network promotion departments. A producer serves as a liaison to coordinate unit activities with client promotional campaigns in other media.
A producer should have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject area like business administration or project management. A strong candidate should also have a minimum of two years of experience in the production field, including experience as an assistant producer. A producer should have good production, communication, and problem solving skills. A producer should have the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships, seeking and respecting diverse opinions while engaging others to work towards a common objective.
